Valachenai Children's Home
We have 2 homes in this location for 42 boys and girls who have been displaced/orphaned by the ongoing civil war in Sri Lanka or the Boxing Day Tsunami in 2006. We provide quality accommodation for the children and total care for their needs including food, clothing, education and medical needs. We employ staff to live in the homes and care for the children and we also provide ongoing training and support for these staff.
Vavuniya Children's Home
We have constructed a children’s home in this location, completed in March 2006 and currently housing 10 children. Future developments will include a meeting hall, bakery and clinic that will be developed at a cost of approximately $300,000 over several years. We hope to commence building in 2010 depending on finances.
